At the Lifecare Foundation, our mission is driven by a deep commitment to social responsibility, with maternal healthcare remaining one of our highest priorities.

Recently, we traveled to Eldoret to support a transformative surgical camp dedicated to women suffering from obstetric and other etiology-based fistulas. Operating under our self-sustainability model, we do not solicit public donations. Instead, all our initiatives are funded through personal savings and a minimum of 20% of our net profits and dividends.

We were honored to contribute approximately $4,000 toward these life-changing procedures.

During our visit, we had the privilege of interacting with several patients supported through our funding, as well as meeting a dedicated team of volunteer surgeons who had traveled from across the globe to offer their expertise and care.

In the second half of the day, we visited the Beyond Fistula Centre, where we witnessed firsthand the rehabilitation journey of survivors. The centre empowers women by equipping them with vital life skills such as tailoring, basket weaving, and hair braiding.

Inspired by their resilience and recognizing the importance of mental engagement in recovery, we have committed to further support the centre by providing chess paraphernalia and professional chess boards. Through this initiative, we aim to foster strategic thinking, community building, and cognitive empowerment as these women rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.
